Stationery is the first glimpse guests get of an event. As a unique event, we chose to work with Goldfinch Paperie to reflect the destination-style dining experience our vision held. A custom watercolor illustrated invitation suite was designed around the same principles as the marketing material, so you can see how this would translate to a wedding invitation suite. Those custom watercolor tiles and stone fountain illustrations highlighted the historic property built in 1804.
Taking after the style of Dîner en Blanc, this outdoor dining experience also asked guests to participate in an all-white dress code to celebrate Summer! As each guest arrived they were greeted and directed to cocktail hour under the Belvedere event pavilion. Decorated with white lounges, and custom signage, guests were encouraged to walk around the property and partake in canapes. Sommelier Keenan of Eden choose a Clarified Gin Gimlet with wormwood tincture, lime, and simple syrup to feature.
The upper bocce court at Windridge Estate was transformed into the perfect dining location for the evening. A long table was set with heavy velvet linens from Elizabeth’s Chair Cover Rentals, laden with candles, and decorated with florals and custom menus. Guests chatted with new friends, and laughter could be heard throughout the property- a true sign of a successful event. As day turned to dusk, the custom lighting from Shine! added to the atmosphere. Custom lighting was installed alongside the bocce court and twinkling lights in the orchard brought so much character to the night.
