Emily & Kyle’s celebration was full of joy, timeless style and meaningful moments at Windridge Estate

For Emily and Kyle, coming home to Upstate New York to tie the knot was a natural choice. They met in college and now live down South, but with Kyle growing up in Cazenovia and Emily just a few towns over, the idea of celebrating their wedding at our Central New York wedding venue fsurrounded by family, friends and familiar views just felt right.

Their wedding weekend at Windridge Estate brought together everything they envisioned—a timeless celebration filled with joy, understated elegance and the people who matter most.

A Central New York Wedding Venue That Feels Like Home

Emily and Kyle’s wedding weekend kicked off with a gorgeous al fresco dinner on the Bocce Courts, followed by welcome drinks at Madison County Distillery, just down the road from the estate. It was a relaxed evening to reconnect, greet out-of-town guests and soak in the excitement before the big day.

The next morning, the celebration unfolded across every corner of Windridge Estate. While the groom’s party enjoyed getting ready in the White Barn, the bridal party got ready at the Farmer’s Cottage, the perfect space for those intimate getting ready moments.

The warm August weather, the curated floral arrangements and the soft ivory and sage details came together beautifully, all setting the tone for an elegant, yet completely effortless day.

A Floral Studded Ceremony at the Stone Wall

With baskets of overflowing florals lining the aisles, the Stone Wall ceremony space was transformed into something intimate and lush. Guests were welcomed with a beverage station and stunning views of the hills beyond. The ceremony began with a Beatles classic, “Here Comes the Sun”, and closed with flower confetti as Emily and Kyle became husband and wife.

Cocktail Hour at the Belvedere: Intentional, Inviting and So Much Fun

While the newlyweds snuck away for photos, guests gathered in the Belvedere Pavilion and surrounding lawn for cocktails, yard games and passed hors d’oeuvres. The drink wall, featuring craft cocktails, was a hit and the casual lounges and high-top tables made it easy for guests to mix, mingle and soak in the day.

It’s clear Emily and Kyle had one goal in mind: give their guests a great experience. From the laid-back flow of cocktail hour to the delicious snacks and late-night plans that followed, every detail was intentional and each of their guests felt it.

Dinner and Dancing at the White Barn

Introductions and first dances took place on the Bluestone Patio, surrounded by family and friends. Emily and Kyle’s first dance to Chris Stapleton’s “Joy of My Life” set the tone for an evening that was heartfelt, grounded and full of joy.

Inside the barn guests were welcomed with a champagne toast and a seated dinner featuring a delicious menu of cedar plank salmon, tenderloin with a chimichurri crust and sweet corn risotto cakes from Catering by Michael’s. The florals, by Westcott Florist, were delicate and unfussy, dancing in bud vases across every table, reflecting the couple’s timeless taste and love for simplicity.

The Billionaires band kept the dance floor packed, while the mix of indoor and outdoor space gave everyone room to celebrate in their own way—whether around the fire pit, under the stars or right up front with the newlyweds.

A Celebration That Stayed True to Them

As the night came to a close, guests made their way to the after-party at Caz Sports Bowl, continuing the celebration just minutes away. From start to finish, Emily and Kyle’s wedding weekend was filled with connection, intention and joy. It was the kind of celebration you feel lucky to be a part of.

Their photographer put it best:

“I wish everyone could have as much fun at their wedding as Emily and Kyle had at theirs yesterday at Windridge Estate!”
