If you want your beloved pets at your wedding, you’re going to need a dog-friendly wedding venue!

We love having your four-legged friends be a part of such a special day. After all, it makes sense that someone you love so much, and spend SO much time with celebrates with you! But let’s be honest, your dog(s) have personalities and there’s no way you’re spending the time to get ready only to *pick up* after them. Not only will you need a dog-friendly wedding venue, but you will want someone to handle them too!

What does it mean to be a dog-friendly wedding venue?

If you’ve ever traveled with a pet then you know the stress of finding a place to stay. Our whole property is dog-friendly, wherever you go they can go! That means our 10-person Farmer Cottage is both your home AND theirs for the weekend. A dog-friendly wedding venue should mean they can be there waiting for you to welcome you home!

Are there additional fees to have our dog(s) stay on-site?

Nope! Our packages include all we have to offer! The prices are upfront and honest, with no additional fees. Windridge Estate is dog-friendly so everyone can enjoy your wedding!

Who handles the dogs?

Here’s possibly the best part. Blue Prints Dog Studio has just the solution: a professional that can come on-site and make sure your pets are well looked after. They are a well-established local business specializing in positive-reinforcement training, daycare programs, and overnight boarding. Past Windridge bride, and daughter of Blue Prints Dog Studion owners, Shea knows the importance of having just that.

With everything so close, you can have a Blue Prints trainer walk your dog(s) from the cottage to the photo location, ceremony, or cocktail hour and then right back. If they are extra energetic going for a short walk beforehand can be arranged, and of course making sure they have breakfast and dinner. If you are traveling the next day or just want a room for yourself, boarding services are also an option!

How to keep the pups around when they aren’t there

While the dogs lounge back at the Cottage from all the attention, include them in other details! A few favorites that come to mind are signature cocktails, custom cufflinks, or cake toppers.
